Accessibility

Last reviewed: October 9, 2026

nimtin is for everyone who books, hosts or comes to an event through it, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or high contrast.

The standard we hold

nimtin aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard websites are measured against under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

How we check

  • The pages members and guests use are checked against WCAG 2.2 AA on a computer and on a phone, and at 320 pixels wide, where nothing should scroll sideways.
  • The public pages are checked again each time a new version goes to our test site, before it is released here.
  • A window that opens over a page keeps the keyboard inside it, and hands it back to where you were when it closes.
  • Errors, confirmations and search results are read out by screen readers as they appear.

What is not finished

  • Our checks are automated and by keyboard. We have not yet gone through every journey end to end with a screen reader.
  • No outside firm has audited nimtin yet.
  • Photos and documents members add themselves may not carry a description.

Tell us when something gets in your way

Email support@nimtin.com with the page you were on and what stopped you. A founder reads every message, fixes what is ours to fix, and helps you finish what you came to do in the meantime.
